Grooming Prices

Small dogs - ( up to 10kg ) 

Full groom - $90 includes bath, blow dry, clip, nails, clean ears and gland expression.

Face feet and tail - $55 includes bath, blow dry, tidy face feet and tail, nails , gland expression.

Breed specific clips incurs extra fee. 

Medium dogs - (10-15kg ) 

Full groom - $105 includes bath, blow dry, clip, nails, clean ears and gland expression.

Face Feet and Tail - $65 includes bath , blow dry , tidy face feet and tail, nails , gland expression.

Breed specific clips incur extra fees

Large dog - ( 15-30kg) 

Full groom - $135 includes bath, blow dry, clip, nails, clean ears and gland expression.

Face Feet and Tail - $80 includes bath, blow dry, tidy, face feet and tail, nails, gland expression.

Breed specific clips incur extra fees

Smooth coat bath and grooms

Small- $35

Medium - $40

Large - $45

Includes bath, blow dry, nails, ear cleaning and gland expression. 

Breed specific clips will be quoted on arrival.

 

Management reserves the right to assess dogs on an individual basis in respect to suitability and owner expectations. It is the policy of The Kennels Nelson Bay not to strip out Heavily matted dogs as it places the animal in unnecessary pain and discomfort. Staff will discuss options with owners at the time.

Difficult dog fee - $20

At times it is necessary to utilise 2 staff members to groom dogs who display difficult behaviour. This may be temperament , anxiety, size or tolerance to grooming related.

Excessive matting fee - $25

If the animal is heavily matted a fee will be incurred as heavy matting places strain on equipment, is time consuming, increases risk to the animal and can create a negative association with grooming.

Nail only - $15

Long coat stripping

$70 upwards
